Braga sign Jovan Milošević on a contract until 2031

Serbian forward Jovan Milošević signed for Braga on 19 August. His new contract runs through June 2031. The 21-year-old leaves Stuttgart after loan periods with Partizan and Werder Bremen.

Braga gains a striker who scored nineteen goals in thirty competitive matches for Partizan. Milošević also recorded three goals and one assist during thirteen appearances for Werder. The reported transfer fee is eight million euros.

The Braga contract runs until June 2031

Milošević signed a deal covering five seasons through June 2031. That period gives Braga time to develop and use the young forward. It also ends his uncertain sequence of temporary moves. Stuttgart remained his parent club during three separate loans. The German club had signed him from Vojvodina in 2023. He made six senior appearances for Stuttgart before the permanent transfer.

The reported fee of eight million euros remains separate from the confirmed contract length. Braga and Stuttgart announced the completed move. Public reports supplied the financial figure. A long agreement does not define his immediate playing time. Training, fitness, and match selection will determine his first role. The contract only confirms Braga's control through 2031.

Milošević scored nineteen goals during his Partizan loan. Milošević joined Partizan on loan during January 2025. He scored nineteen times across thirty competitive appearances. That return provided the strongest senior scoring period of his career. Partizan used him as a central forward near the opposing penalty area. His height and movement offered targets for crosses and direct passes. He also attacked space behind defensive lines.

Thirty matches supplied a broader sample than occasional substitute appearances. Milošević handled repeated league and cup responsibilities during the loan.

The goal total attracted attention outside Serbia. Braga now receives the same player after another half-season in Germany. The Portuguese club will evaluate how those strengths fit its current attack. Previous numbers provide context without guaranteeing another identical total.

Werder provided another Bundesliga opportunity

Milošević moved to Werder Bremen for the second half of the 2025-26 season. He played thirteen matches during that loan. His record included three goals and one assist. The period gave him more regular Bundesliga minutes than his Stuttgart spell. German defenders offered different physical and positional tests. He also worked inside another coaching structure.

Three goals represented a smaller rate than his Partizan return. The league, role, and available minutes were different. Direct comparison therefore requires more than the final totals. Werder did not complete a permanent transfer after the loan ended. Milošević returned to Stuttgart before Braga negotiated the new agreement. The final move places him in Portugal instead of another temporary squad.

Milošević began his senior career with Vojvodina

Milošević entered senior football through Vojvodina. The Novi Sad club introduced him before his move abroad. Stuttgart signed him during the summer of 2023. Moving at a young age created competition with established Bundesliga forwards. His six Stuttgart appearances did not provide a continuous run. Loans offered a larger number of competitive minutes.

The route now includes Serbian, Swiss, and German experience before Portugal. Each league presented a different pace and defensive structure. Braga receives a forward familiar with several football environments.

Vojvodina also retains importance in his development history. The club prepared him for senior matches and the original international transfer. That background belongs beside his later Partizan scoring record.

Braga add another option for the central striker role. Milošević stands about 1.90 metres and normally operates as a centre-forward. His profile offers Braga height inside the penalty area. It also supports direct passes when the team faces heavy pressure. A tall forward still depends on timing and service. Crosses require accurate delivery, while long passes require support nearby. His Partizan goals showed several finishing methods rather than one repeated action. Braga competes in Portugal and European qualification. A crowded schedule creates minutes across league, cup, and continental matches. Official team sheets will reveal his first position in the rotation. The club has not promised him an automatic starting place. Existing forwards remain part of the selection. Milošević arrives as a long-term signing with recent senior production. Regular club matches may affect Serbia's striker selection.

Milošević has represented Serbia at youth levels and remains eligible for senior selection. Regular club football would provide current evidence for national coaches. Selection still depends on form and competition for places. Portugal offers another stage for Serbian players seeking consistent minutes abroad. Braga regularly plays matches with high domestic expectations. European fixtures add opponents from different leagues. National-team discussion often follows a transfer announcement too quickly. A signed contract does not replace completed matches. His first Braga appearances will provide the relevant information.

The forward turns twenty-two later in the season. His development period remains open, yet he already owns substantial senior experience. Braga now directs the next part of that work.

Registration comes before his first Braga squad selection

Braga now registers Milošević for the competitions available to the club. Domestic and European lists follow their own deadlines. A completed transfer does not place him automatically inside every match squad. His first training sessions provide information about current fitness. The staff also introduces its attacking movements and set-piece roles. That work happens before any official debut. A place among the substitutes counts as his first selected squad. An appearance begins only after entering the field. Those two records remain separate in official player statistics. Braga will publish team information before each fixture. The first confirmed selection supplies the next date in his career. Until then, the contract remains the only completed event. The club and contract length are confirmed.

Braga confirmed Milošević as a new player on 19 August. The contract ends in June 2031. Stuttgart no longer holds him under a loan arrangement. His Partizan record stands at nineteen goals in thirty competitive matches. Werder used him thirteen times, producing three goals and one assist. Stuttgart gave him six senior appearances. Eight million euros is the widely reported fee rather than a complete public contract account. Additional contract clauses have not been publicly disclosed. The published transfer announcement confirms the sporting move. Milošević now begins work with Braga before his first official appearance. Match selection will provide the next update. The completed agreement replaces months of discussion about another loan.
